Meet Our Team
Marcela Sifuentes
A junior at Oakland University pursuing a degree in journalism and a minor in public relations. She is an active student leader on campus working as a resident assistant and a mentor for students pursuing a degree in communication, journalism, and/or public relations department. She is pursuing a career in public relations as a PR professional or journalism as a news anchor. In her free time, she designs, reads, draws, and writes both creatively and journalistically.
Sergio Montanez
A senior at Oakland University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Advertising. Sergio is a videographer intern at Hour Detroit and a staff photographer for Oakland University's student newspaper The Oakland Post. He's pursuing a career in the media field as a photojournalist or content creator. In his free time, he loves to play golf, jam on the guitar with his band, and take rides in his Jeep.
Sidney Richardson
A senior at Oakland University pursuing a degree in journalism with a minor in advertising. Sidney is a blog writer intern at Quicken Loans' Publishing House. She is also a member of the OU Honors College and is interested in pursuing a career in marketing, public relations, or advertising with her writing and design skills. In her free time, she loves to read, hike, write, and paint.
Taylor Brown
A senior at Oakland University majoring in Communication with a double minor in Journalism and Digital Media Production. Taylor is the Events Coordinator at OU's radio station, WXOU. She's also an editorial intern at Hour Media Detroit. She is pursuing a career as a journalist where she hopes to continue working in radio or magazine writing after college. In her free time, she loves discovering new music, writing, and listening to podcasts.
